STILL NO NEWS ON REOPENING
 
To all parishioners,
 
It’s Saturday evening and I want to keep the promise I made to you last week about a weekly bulletin to inform you of any changes on the horizon. The biggest news this week is that there is no news about reopening. Still we have not heard anything. The moment we do, we will be in touch.
 
Until further notice, the church is closed on Sundays and weekdays.

NEW FRIAR ARRIVES AT ST. BON’S
FOR THE SUMMER
On Saturday, June 6, Brother Ian Grant, O.F.M., arrived at St. Bon’s for his summer pastoral assignment and to share life in our Franciscan Fraternity. Hopefully most of you will be able to meet him when we return to church.
 
Brother Ian has just completed his first year of theological studies at the Catholic Theological Union, Chicago. He calls northern New Jersey his home. He did undergraduate studies at William Paterson University and graduate studies in Psychology from Rutgers where he earned a Masters degree. He worked as a clinician for a youth shelter in Trenton. His work focused on building therapeutic
relationships with commercially and sexually exploited youth. With the help of God, he looks forward to completing studies and solemn profession of vows in the Order of Friars Minor in 2023 and ordination to the priesthood in 2024.
Please welcome him to St. Bon’s! He will be the lector at the 11 AM live-streamed Mass today.
 
FEAST OF ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA
Saturday, June 13^th, 11:00 AM
With great joy each year we celebrate the Great Feast of the Wonderworker of Padua, St. Anthony. Many of you have prayed the Trezena with us at the end of the live-streamed Mass on Tuesdays or perhaps you prayed the Novena privately in your own home. The thirteen weeks of Tuesdays finds its resolution in the celebration of the Feast on June 13 ^th.
