BLESSING OF THROATS This rite of Blessing emerged during a time of pandemic to call down the blessing of God on all the people for their health and well-being. During the current pandemic, we will offer this Blessing on two occasions: (1) at all weekend Masses (Jan 30-31), that is, Saturday evening at the close of the Vigil Mass at 5:30 PM (Jan 30) and at the close of all Sunday Masses (Jan 31) and (2) on Tuesday at the public livestreamed Mass at 11:30 AM (Feb 2).
