Dear Parents & Guardians,
Since we are unable to physically be together to celebrate Sunday Liturgy, we have partnered with Loyola Press to provide on-line resources for families to connect to the Scriptures. These connections are especially imperative for prayer and reflection during the difficult time of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Loyola Press offers the Sunday Connection, which provides the Sunday readings with an explanation of the scriptures, as well as reflection questions and specific activities for children by grade level to better understand the message of the readings and the Gospel.
Also, there is a Family Resource Section which provides prayer and reflection for each day of the week. You can connect to the Sunday Connection directly through the Loyola Press website at https://www.loyolapress.com/our-catholic-faith/liturgical-year/sunday.
In addition, please feel free to explore the website for other activities you can do individually or as a family. Another wonderful experience is the 3 Minute Retreats which provide an opportunity to pause from our daily activities and reflect on specific scripture passages and questions to grow closer to Christ and embrace in the comfort of His love for us.
As we move forward in the days ahead of this pandemic, let us remember we are never alone, and that God is always with us. We are fortunate to have these on-line resources available to us so that we may be united in prayer.
Finally, just a reminder, to please check our Facebook Page at St. Bonaventure Religious Formation for any additional updates or announcements.
Please be assured of our prayers for your families and know that we look forward to the day when we can celebrate the Sunday Liturgy together as one.
Sincerely,
Teresa Gallo-Tomcho
